About Us

Vidyalankar Institute Of Technology :

  • Vidyalankar Institute of Technology is an engineering degree college approved by the All India Council For Technical Education and affiliated to University of Mumbai, India. It has been accredited by National assessment and accreditation with A+ grade in 2019. The Electronics Engineering Department is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and is a part of an Institute which has been accredited with A+ grade in NAAC. It has a permanent affiliation with University of Mumbai. Any department is known by the people who work there and the students who graduate from it.

Electronics Engineering Students Association :

Electronics Engineering Students Association (EESA) is a student committee which belongs to the Electronics Department of VIT. EESA-VIT, is a student chapter of Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT). It acts as a platform of the Electronics Engineering Department to conduct various activities and host events, to put forth interesting and creative ideas in the technical field.

Department of Electronics and Computer Science has a very strong and disciplined academics and has taken various initiatives for the overall development and enhancement of Technical and Soft Skills of the students. Students have enormous talents and creativity which is being explored by co-curricular activities like Group Discussion, Debate, Extempore, Project Competition, Coding Competition etc. organized under different student bodies like EESA, IEEE and student clubs like ‘The Coding Crew’, ‘Dare to Compete Ignitor Club’, and ‘Fintech Club’. Globalization and rapid technological evolutions give rise to many challenges. Continuous learning and keeping oneself updated with recent trends and technologies is the need for today’s professionals. Therefore, qualities like lifelong conceptual learning, strong verbal and analytical skills, good written and oral communication skills, creativity and hardworking with high ethical standards needs to be inculcated among the students. Everyone should have passion towards achieving the desired goals. It is not only the smart work, but the hard work is also essential to achieve the milestones.

At the very outset, I take this opportunity to welcome you all for Vidyalankar Institute of Technology's Students Chapter "Electronics Engineering Students Association" (EESA), the departmental society representing the students within the Electronics and Computer Science Engineering department. EESA is an initiative by the students, for the students. It acts as a platform for the Department to conduct various activities and host events, to put forth interesting and creative ideas in the technical field.
EESA creates opportunities to students to display their technical talents. It provides an opportunity to interact with industrial experts and helps to bridge the gap between corporate and self. I wish & hope that each one of you will take the maximum benifit from this initiative.

Electrovision was an event which was held on 6 August 2021. An event that brought light upon various ways of finding research related resources effectively.

TechnoQuest

An adventure, filled with fun quizzes , puzzles and as ultimate treasure hunt.




Beyond The Horizon

A set of value -packed seminars by leaders of various startups and organizations to provide their experience for our guidance.

Hackatronics

The event was a electronics department level Hackathon. Various teams participated and showcased their ideas to the problem statement provided to them.
